MXD86 Track Stump Grinder

The powerful MXD86 Track Stump Grinder is equipped with an expandable rubber track undercarriage with 4.4 PSI ground pressure and an 86″/218.44 cm boom arc for less positioning at the stump. The MXD86 Track is outfitted with Long Boom Technology, which maintains full boom arc swing regardless of cutting depth; multi-function wireless remote control with 50’/15 m tethered back-up system; and a fully enclosed, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder diesel engine. Standard features include a 5.4-cubic-inch hydrostatic motor; and heavy-duty tubular steel frame. Options include hydraulic back-fill blade and fold-away boom-mounted deflect curtain assembly.

  • Long Boom Technology – Knuckled boom allows maximum swing above and below grade to access hard-to-reach areas while maintaining full boom arc swing regardless of cutting depth.
  • Hydrostatic Drive – Hydrostatic primary drive with belt final drive provides efficient (90%) power transfer between drive and cutting system with minimal moving components.
  • Boom Pivot Assembly – Heavy-duty boom pivot significantly reduces wear in critical area of the stump grinder to provide years of trouble-free service and allows for greater boom arm swing radius.
  • Expandable Track – Nachi Rubber Track Undercarriage with 4.4 PSI ground pressure is 72″/182.88 cm long x 9″/22.86 cm wide, turf-friendly and hydraulically expandable from 35″/88.9 cm wide to 47″/119.38 cm wide with dual cylinders.
  • Wireless Remote – Multi-function remote with 50’/15 m tethered back‑up provides optimal control while allowing the operator to stay clear of debris and get the best vantage point for operation.
