Willibald EP5500 Shark V

In stock

In both the preparation of biomass and the composting process, the latest Willibald series delivers results that until now were thought to have been unattainable. Many different materials can be processed exactly as required, thanks to the unique shredding systems of the EP series. In both their main area of use (namely composting) and the increasingly important biomass application, the Sharks have also become successfully established in the field of biogas substrate treatment. Furthermore, the “Willibald Sharks” are also used successfully for bark and peat processing, as well as for making wood chips from left-over and old wood materials (e.g. pallets) for use in thermal recycling. Choosing the type of Shark to suit your needs will perfect the shredding result in line with your individual material requirements.

On the EP 5500 Shark series,   particular emphasis has been placed on the extended rubber conveyor belt. The increased discharge height allows the optimum use of limited space and also direct loading of container vehicles. The intelligent bend technology incorporated in the rubber discharge belt allows three basic discharge belt positions to be achieved quickly: ·

  • The transport position with a compact total machine length of just 9.98 m
  • The maintenance position with unique access for servicing and maintenance work
  • The working position

In particular, our machine operators and users praise not only the efficiency and easy service accessibility of this series but also its compact design, five customized variants of which are available:

  • Shark V – Version 1 – Finest results: In this modification, a rotor shreds with 48 fine flails in combination with rakes. This achieves finest material results.   Version 1 is the right decision when exact fine grain is required.
  • Shark V – Version 2 – Robust and fine: This strong rotor version with 40 flails and more stable rakes due to the reduced number of flails enables an optimum compromise between robustness and material fineness. Version 2 is the one you want when you need decent fine grain.
  • Shark V – Version 3 – The all-rounder: Here, a rotor operates with 16 powerful double flails. These are equipped with 32 quickly interchangeable tips. The universally usable Shark V shredding system in version 3 offers balanced good results in almost all areas of application.
  • Shark V – Version 4 – The universal one: Alternatively to version 3, 32 massive single flails can be used. The Shark shredding system in version 4 offers longer life times and also good results for a number of materials to be shredded.
  • Shark V – Version 5 – Master of biomass processing: A rotor with 10 fixed shredder tools and variable interchangeable tip system or blades with chopping qualities ensures excellent results in the processing of biomass. An innovative safety concept against contaminants also convinces.
